Who we are

Monmouth Coffee Roasters is based in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Business formation is in progress, and this page will name the registered entity and its mailing address as soon as they exist. You can reach a person at hello@monmouthcoffeeroasters.com.

What we collect, and only when you type it in

If you join the waitlist we collect your first name, email address, ZIP code, which subscription size interests you, how you heard about us, and a record that you ticked the consent box.

If you ask about the gifting program we collect your first and last name, company, industry, email address, an optional phone number, a rough number of gifts per year, and an optional message.

Either form also records the date and time you submitted it, which page you submitted it from, any campaign tags in the link you followed, and a referral code if one was in the link. That is how we understand where interest comes from. It holds nothing about you beyond what is listed above.

Why we collect it

To tell you when deliveries start in your part of the county. To reply to gifting enquiries. And to see which parts of Monmouth County want this, which is the entire reason a waitlist exists before a launch.

We ask for your ZIP because we deliver to one county and nowhere else. If you are outside it we still keep you on the list and mark it, so we know where demand sits beyond our current area.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not email you about anything other than what you signed up for. We run no advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

Cookies, and the fact that we set none

This site runs no analytics and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If you arrive through a referral link, the code from that link sits in your browser's session storage and disappears when you close the tab.

One cookie is set, and only if you sign in to the partner area, which is a private section for businesses that gift our coffee to their clients. It is named mcr_partner, it holds a random value that lets us recognise your sign-in, and it lasts thirty days or until you sign out. It carries nothing about you, it is not readable by scripts, and it is never sent to anyone else. It exists solely to keep you signed in, so we do not ask your permission for it. If you never sign in to the partner area, this site sets no cookies at all.

Where your information is held

Waitlist and enquiry records are held by Klaviyo, an email platform we use as a service provider. Consumer and business contacts sit on separate lists so the two never receive each other's mail. This site is hosted by Vercel. Both companies process this data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until it stops being useful for the purpose you gave it for, whichever comes first. If we decide not to launch, we will delete the waitlist rather than keep it.

Your choices

Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately.

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@monmouthcoffeeroasters.com. We will not ask why and we will not try to talk you out of it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under your state law, and we will honor them.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we will delete the record.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant and we have your email address, we will tell you directly rather than expect you to notice.
